Annette Funicello was an American performer and a singer from the United States. Annette Funicello was an actor in America as well as a singer. In her teens Annette began singing and she became famous for her hit songs, 'TallPaul' and Pineapple Princess'. Annette was born and brought up by Italian immigrants living in Utica as a child was a timid person. Once she made the decision to begin a professional career within the field began doing dance and performed. She gained fame in the 1950s when she was a part of the "Mouseketeers". Annette was able to shed her 'Disney" persona she cultivated when she was a kid and took many different adult roles. As one of first actors, she was credited as the first to introduce the "beach" party genre. She appeared in such films as How to Stuff a Wild Bikini, Pajama Party, and"Beach Party. Her albums with music came out periodically. Annette was diagnosed with MS in 1992 and passed away of the illness in 2013.
